Human centred Design Thinking was developed in Stanford in 1960's, as an innovation methodology
Entrepreneurs have many challenges. Use this method to set out on the right path, and accelerate key decisions avoiding costly mistakes down the road of innovation.
So, quickly prove your 'Design Thinking' by using a 5 Day Sprint process. It's used to iterate and validate your idea before investing heavily into executing it. Ensure the solution is developed as rapidly and effectively as possible. It's used before developing a MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
Day 1# Define customer journey. Refine & check with experts. Define 1 critical must do objective that can be tested (a weekly deliverable)
Day 2# Team sketch out all possible solutions (unbiased). Then, check with customers using keynotes.
Day 3# Members vote on proposed ideas sketched out. Then, winning idea gets promoted to be further developed
Day 4# Accurately develop out the idea in further detail. Team create 'Absolute minimum accurate representation' *(no code)
Day 5# Interviewer provides proposal to customers (who doesn't taint the interview feedback) while team observe via video and take notes. In the end, compare notes, and refine lessons learnt.

If you want to lead innovation then optimisation business methodology doesn't work. You can't define a vision and motivate team to achieve it.
